Coastwise works with the National Trust and Woolacombe School......

Recently four Coastwise volunteers joined up with National trust wardens Jonathan Fairhurst and Jemma Lowin to host a Rockpool Ramble for 60 children on Barricane Beach.
The year 2 and year 3 pupils of Woolacombe School (Click for pic), accompanied by their teachers, got the opportunity to see for themselves the amazing abundance and diversity of life to be found on our shores at this time. Many large sea hares were found, with several varieties of crabs and fish and great interest was shown in some fine examples of starfish and jellyfish.
Coastwise welcomed this opportunity to work with the National Trust on this occasion and looks forward to more joint projects in the future.
