Fearsome Idotea

This beastly looking animal, Arcturella damoniensis, is actually only about 2mm long.  The only one I have ever come across, I spotted it down the microscope amongst bryozoan-encrusted algae.

According to Hayward & Ryland, the triagular processon its back indicate that it is a female.
